AI4SE1DK: Human-Centred AI for Software Engineering — A National Conversation

AI4SE1DK is a four-year Grand Solutions project (Innovation Fund Denmark, 30.4 MDKK, 14 partners) advancing the trustworthy, human-centred, and sustainable adoption of AI for software engineering in Denmark. This 180-minute session shares the programme’s initial empirical and technical results and, through a facilitated sequence of Liberating Structures, invites participants to co-create perspectives on responsible AI adoption.
Together we examine the knowledge, trust, and verification gaps that accompany AI integration, including EU AI Act compliance, and surface concrete actions, open questions, and collaboration opportunities. The session advances a national conversation on workforce wellbeing and software productivity, contributing to a roadmap that positions Denmark as a reference for human-centred, trustworthy AI4SE.
The 180-minute workshop combines a structured presentation of AI4SE1DK’s initial results with a facilitated participatory segment based on Liberating Structures, designed to surface and synthesise the participants’ perspectives on human-centred AI for software engineering in Denmark.
