Workshop
From Classroom to Career: Data Science Degrees & Early Career Opportunities
Wednesday 23 October 10.30
Organizer: Elena Dudukina, DDSA
In this session, we explore possible pathways from classroom to career for upcoming data scientists in Denmark. In the first part, we hold a student-driven panel discussion about Data Science education, where students will share their first-hand experiences of getting a Data Science or another related degree. In the second part of the session, several experts in talent acquisition from both academia and industry will share their insights on how to land a job in Data Science – with a particular focus on giving practical tips to those who enter the field from a different professional background.
This session combines a moderator-driven panel discussion (1) and a Q&A with several speakers (2); active participation of the audience is highly encouraged!
